NEDCO was officially recognized by Oregon Housing and
Community Services as the Regional Housing Center for Lane
County - The Homeownership Center of Lane County. The
Homeownership Center is a one-stop center for homeownership
and housing information and services throughout Lane County.
NEDCO was designated as the administrator for the Oregon
Homeownership Association.
| 2006: |
Began developing a new subdivision on 35th Street in
Springfield. The subdivision, Phoenix Place, consists of one
existing home (renovated), one older home moved to the subdivision
(renovated), and three new homes.
Organized the Latino Homeownership Fair.
Organized and facilitated best practice training sessions on
homeownership issues.
Moved to new office location at 783 Grant Street in Eugene.

Completed development of Phoenix Place subdivision in
Springfield.
Completed development of two homes (one rehab, one new) on
34th Street in Springfield.
Moved two donated homes to new locations in Springfield and
began renovation.
NEDCO was officially recognized by Oregon Housing and Community
Services as the Regional Housing Center for the Salem/Marion County
area - The Homeownership Center. The Center was developed at the
request of, and in collaboration with, organizations in Marion County
including Farmworker Housing Development Corporation, Salem-Keizer
Community Development Corporation, and the Housing Authority of the
City of Salem.

Received certification as a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency.
NEDCO is the first organization in Oregon in over ten years to receive
this certification.
