Threshold Homeownership Education and Counseling

Since 1994, NEDCO has been working with families and individuals to prepare them to become successful homeowners through the Threshold Homeownership Education and Counseling Program. The $65 fee (plus $4.57 on-line registration fee) includes a tri-merge credit report with scores.

This intensive program has two components:

1) Individualized homeownership counseling - The counseling is based on the development and implementation of a strategic action plan, and

2) A course of 8 two-hour classes - Topics include budgeting, debt, credit, mortgage qualification, working with a realtor, insurance, home maintenance and repair, and weatherization and energy savings.

Classes are held weekly from 6-8 pm. Starting dates for the series are shown below, please click on the date to register for the classes:
