Stacey has worked in social services for nearly twenty years, and holds a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work. During her studies, she decided that she wanted to work with children experiencing homelessness, and moved to San Francisco in 1999 to work in an emergency shelter for families. Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings, including a residential drug treatment facility, emergency and transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and a youth vocational program. Her professional experience has given her a broad perspective on how to support young adults in developing the skills and mindset needed to become self-sufficient and to move forward in life. Stacey recently moved to Oregon to live close to family, and is happy to call Eugene home.
