Molly Markarian, President.
Molly is a Planner II at the City of Springfield. As a former NEDCO employee, she has
experienced first hand the impact that NEDCO’s work has on the lives of individuals,
families, and the community at large. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to
continue to further NEDCO’s mission of helping people build assets as a strategy for
reducing poverty and creating sustainable communities in her capacity as a board member.

Jon Stafford, Secretary.
Jon is a local architect who has learned through his involvement
with NEDCO that “having one’s efforts validated by seeing
those efforts empower people and make their lives better
is immensely satisfying.” |

John Adkisson, Treasurer.
John is a CPA, and says that "homeownership is the foundation of a strong community,
and NEDCO is helping build that foundation. Anything I can do to help NEDCO achieve
their goals, and help their constituents achieve their goals, is worthwhile." |

Melva Boles is a retired
teacher; she taught at Sheldon High School in Eugene. She likes the
fact that NEDCO is project based rather than process based
and has been able to complete an impressive number of
projects and built an organization that is healthy, viable,
stable and that benefits many people. |

Al Coddington is a local
builder/general contractor who is on the board because “I want to feel
that in some way I am making a contribution to creating a better society…there
are a lot of hard working people out there who with just the little help we can
lend them can make major improvements in their lives.” |

Michael Coulbourne owns a State
Farm Insurance Agency in Eugene. He has served as a volunteer instructor for NEDCO
for the last several years, and states, "It has been a real pleasure to observe the
pride and excitement in those who are preparing to purchase a home. As a board member,
I am able to make further contributions to NEDCO's commitment to building strong,
healthy neighborhoods, and helping families to thrive." |

Debbie Davis
is Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at US Bank in downtown Springfield.
As a representative of downtown business in Springfield and a long time resident
of Eugene/ Springfield, she is eager to promote NEDCO’s efforts to revitalize
the area through business development, the Springfield Farmers’ Market and
affordable homeownership.

Jasen Hansen
is Commercial Appraiser/Partner, Duncan & Brown Real Estate Analysts. Jasen
writes, "I joined the board at NEDCO because, after learning about the
organization, I was very excited to try to help NEDCO's mission any way
I could. I have lived in the Eugene/Springfield area all my life, and I
feel promoting home ownership plays an important role in strengthening
our community in many ways."

is Assistant Vice President and Manager, Siuslaw Mortgage. Fawnda writes,
"I’ve been a volunteer for NEDCO since 1999, because I love NEDCO’s commitment
to helping families become successful homeowners. By being a board member,
I can be even more involved with helping make our community better."

Shane Tracey,
President, Kekau Chocolatier, Inc/Nib Dessert and Wine Bar.
Shane writes, "I like to be part of the
community change that NEDCO constantly works toward, and will do anything within my
limits to help NEDCO achieve its goals. As an entrepreneur who recently started a
small business in Eugene’s Whiteaker neighborhood, I feel I offer a balanced outlook
on any situation."

Ed Durkee
supervises workforce development programs and human resources for Goodwill
Industries. Ed is impressed by how community development corporations create
opportunities for neighborhood residents. "There is nothing more optimistic
than a construction site. Everybody starts these projects with a vision
of success. I like NEDCO because its visions of success include new homeowners
and successful businesses in our established neighborhoods."

Jessica Hampton,
is a Graduate Student at the University of Oregon, studying nonprofit
management and community and regional planning. Upon completing her Graduate work, she
hopes to work in an organization that upholds the same principles that NEDCO is so committed
to. She believes NEDCO epitomizes the achievements that are possible when neighborhoods are
strengthened through collaboration and home ownership.
